die Sache mit dem Matsutake once a day (13. 09 2014) i found the 6th,7th and 8th Matsutake ever notized in Austria. This happens in Waldviertel / NÖ / Austria. Shortly before, there was found another Matsutake (NR. 5) in Styria ( http://www.kleinezeitung.at/steiermark/deutschlandsberg/3733018/koralm-ein-pilz-um-2000-euro.story ) and this is stored for scientific purpose. I taste 'em (together with my father - we both felt in love with.). And i dried 'em (and after these my mother felt in love too with 'em because of its bit and taste) . 600 grams in weight of fresh once, a couple less as dried once. It has (for me as an Austrian) a strange but fine smell and taste. You ask, where i've found 'em: No way :-)
